This is the home page for the NSW Maritime Heritage Unit, associated with the NSW Heritage Office. The maritime unit of the heritage office specifically deals with maritime archaeological sites, including shipwrecks, as well as maritime related buildings, such as harbours, wharves, jetties and lighthouses. The website includes information on the different types of maritime heritage sites as well as a searchable database listing shipwrecks that have occurred throughout NSW.
